Miss Nigeria Florida-2011’s Ankara Miami 2012 - 1st Annual Ankara Fashion & Cultural Show - is the FIRST and ONLY major runway fashion and cultural show in Florida featuring the best of up and coming African designers and performers. Attendees will include Corporate Executives, Community Leaders, Elected Officials, and a myriad of other professionals from all walks of life!

WHAT:  

Ankara Miami 2012 - 1st Annual Ankara Fashion & Cultural Show will feature an electrifying night of fresh patterns, eclectic designs, and bold attitudes in celebration of African culture, history, entertainment, & apparel.

Ankara Miami 2012 will attract key Corporate Executives who will have an opportunity to fulfill their individual Corporate Giving initiatives while interfacing with Elected Officials, Community Leaders, and a myriad of other professionals to build their brand and their network.

WHY:
  
In celebration of Black History Month, The 1st Annual Ankara Fashion & Cultural Show provides the opportunity for Ankara Miami, Inc. to share the African culture through fashion, dance, music, vendors, and live art!

A portion from all proceeds received will benefit Ankara Miami 2012’s Community Spotlight, the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center (AHCAC). Centered in the heart of Liberty City, AHCAC serves as a nesting ground for emerging talent by providing quality training for children and adolescents in performing, visual, and media arts. These proceeds will be utilized to:

Provide tuition scholarship opportunities to recommended low-income students.

Fund programs that enrich and inspire Miami inner city youth through performing and visual arts.
Improve the quality of life of Miami inner city youth through after school programs and summer camp.
